Maoist Communist Party of Italy replies to Colombian Maoists - English and Spanish translation:

We received the document-report by the UOC- MLM Colombia
It would be necessary and useful to discuss the whole document and over time we will. At the present, we want treat the point about the position of the PCm Italy related to the document - speech at the Conference in Hamburg, that contains many other things we think should be addressed and discussed, while the comrades of the UOC (MLM) focused their attention only on a part.
They wrote:
"It also contributes to the differentiation of nuances in the MCI, such as public statements made by the Communist Party (Maoist) of Italy (member of the MRI), in a message addressed on December 2010 to the Conference in Hamburg mentioned above, expressing its position on the history of RIM, its assessment on the development and treatment of line struggle in this movement, the emergence of revisionist positions in the "new synthesis" by Bob Avakian and the leadership Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist), and concluding that �All This has resulted in the collapse of the RIM.� At the same time, they point out that the delimitation from the revisionism must have two important base point: �to establish Maoism �and �the universality of people's war, that today means to establish the people�s war in the imperialist countries� with the idea that it need a new International Conference and to establish a general line of the IMC for which they are already working with other parties from France, Spain and Canada. We say that statements like this contribute to differentiate nuances, because it shows the need of the Marxist-Leninist-Maoists to accurately delimit the camp of revisionism, as if the touchstone to distinguish Marxism and revisionism is not the question of the proletarian dictatorship and deep understanding achieved with the experience of the Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution in China, i.e., it shows the need to intensify the line struggle among the Marxist-Leninist-Maoists in order to defeat the confusion, that also is evident in the inconsistent positions of the PC (Maoist) of Italy, because when it was decisive to stand against the Prachandist revisionism, they endorsed �the line of the CPN (M) Prachanda Path� in a statement issued one year and a half after the revisionist betrayal in Nepal!, in which they states that �From the roof the world, a red flag shines victorious. It is the flag of Maoism. It is the flag of people's war and political struggle lead by the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist)� confirming the support for the "advanced, sophisticated, and deep theory of the CPN (Maoist)�, and now, with no self-criticism or explanation, they admit the revisionist character of the leadership of that party�.
The PCm Italy has supported the CPN Maoist when it intertwined the people�s war and leading of the masses political movement in Nepal to overthrow the Nepalese regime, eliminate the monarchy, using all forms of struggle to seize power and establish a new democratic republic.
This was possible and necessary, it does not imply to abandon and liquidate the people�s war. It was, and is, a necessary development of the MLM line in the concrete analysis of concrete conditions. We have no self-criticism to do for having supported this line, indeed we consider the developments in Nepal in that period as a partially positive lesson that the whole communist movement should draw on.
That in that process there could be germs and then developed in revisionism sense by the current leadership of the CPNU Maoist does not change the nature of things.
One must be able to distinguish what is development of the revolutionary tactics and what is to use tactics to reverse the strategy and go to revisionism.
It is a problem that emerges in every revolution, difficult and complex, but a decisive node for the success.
We have already dealt with this contradiction in our country with the emergence of the revisionist line of Togliatti in the PCI, and always the opportunist and false leftist currents, Trotskyist and Bordigist, were those that considered Togliatti, his line and leadership, revisionist since the very beginning, and considered the PCI revisionist since the beginning of the antifascist Resistance, despising the correct tactics that led anti-fascist resistance to the victory under the leadership of PCI, paving the road to the transition to socialism, while Togliatti steps, first practical and then theoretical, since 1947-48 led to the prevailing of revisionist positions in the PCI and then, in 1956, to the change of nature of this party.
Only those who say in words: �negation of negation�, but then, in their analyzing, theorize and practice the anti-dialectical position of 'only negation', can, therefore, see inconsistency in our position. Those who try to apply the MLM to the concrete reality, in the analysis as well as in practice, in the fire of class struggle in close liaison with the masses, may understand that it is something else.
We are confident that all the MLM parties and forces will find through the ideological and practical struggle their unity in the future International conference based on the correct positions against revisionism and the anti-dialectical and idealistic positions in the international communist movement.

Hemos recibido el documento de la UOC-no formado Colombia MLM
Ser�a necesario y �til discutir todo el documento y, en el tiempo, lo haremos. Por el momento nos ocupamos con el punto sobre la posici�n PCm Italia, con referencia al documento - discurso en la conferencia de Hamburgo, que contiene muchas cosas que creemos hay que abordar y discutir, mientras que los compa�eros de la UOC centran su atenci�n s�lo en una parte.

" Contribuye tambi�n a la diferenciaci�n de matices en el MCI, pronunciamientos p�blicos tales como el hecho por el Partido Comunista (Mao�sta) de Italia (miembro del MRI), en un Mensaje de diciembre de 2010 dirigido a la Conferencia de Hamburgo mencionada antes, manifestando su posici�n sobre la historia del MRI, su apreciaci�n sobre el desarrollo y trato a la lucha de l�neas en ese movimiento, el surgimiento de las posiciones revisionistas de la �nueva s�ntesis� de Bob Avakian y de la direcci�n del Partido Comunista de Nepal (mao�sta), concluyendo que �Todo esto ha dado como resultado el colapso del MRI�. As� mismo, plantean que la delimitaci�n con el revisionismo debe tener dos bases importantes: �afirmar el mao�smo� y �la afirmaci�n de la universalidad de la guerra popular, que hoy es afirmar la guerra popular en los pa�ses imperialistas�, en la idea de la necesidad de una nueva Conferencia Internacional y de establecer una l�nea general del MCI en la cual ya vienen trabajando con otros partidos de Francia, Espa�a y Canad�. Decimos que pronunciamientos como �ste, sirven a la diferenciaci�n de matices, porque indica la necesidad que tienen los MLM de delimitar con toda exactitud los campos con el revisionismo, de si acaso ya la piedra de toque para diferenciar entre marxismo y revisionismo no es la cuesti�n de la Dictadura del Proletariado y su profunda comprensi�n lograda con la experiencia de la Gran Revoluci�n Cultural Proletaria en China; es decir, denota la necesidad de profundizar la lucha de l�neas entre los MLM para derrotar la confusi�n, que tambi�n se advierte en las incoherentes posiciones del PC (mao�sta) de Italia, pues en el momento decisivo de tomar posici�n frente al revisionismo prachandista, respald� �la l�nea del PCN (M) Camino Prachanda�, caso de la Declaraci�n hecha �a�o y medio despu�s de la traici�n revisionista en Nepal!5, donde manifiesta que �Desde la cima m�s alta del mundo, una bandera roja brilla victoriosa. Es la bandera del mao�smo. Es la bandera de guerra popular y de la lucha pol�tica guiada por el Partido Comunista de Nepal (Mao�sta)� reafirmando su apoyo a la �avanzada, sofisticada, y profunda elaboraci�n del PCN (Mao�sta)�, y ahora, sin que medie autocr�tica ni explicaci�n, acepte el car�cter revisionista de la direcci�n de ese partido".
El PCM-Italia ha apoyado el PCN mao�sta cuando este ha entrelazado la guerra popular con la direcci�n del movimiento pol�tico de masas en Nepal para derrocar al gobierno de Nepal, eliminar la monarqu�a, utilizando todas formas de lucha para tomar el poder y establecer una rep�blica de Nueva Democracia.
Eso fue posible y necesario, no incluye el abandono y la liquidaci�n de la guerra popular, fue y es un desarrollo necesario, en el an�lisis concreto de la situaci�n concreta, de la l�nea MLM. No tenemos ninguna autocr�tica que hacernos por haber apoyado esta l�nea, de hecho consideramos la situaci�n en Nepal en esa fase como una lecci�n en parte positiva que todo el movimiento comunista debe sacar.
Que en esta elaboraci�n podr�a haber los g�rmenes que luego han sido desarrollados en sentido revisionista por la direcci�n del PCNU mao�sta no cambia la naturaleza de las cosas. Uno debe ser capaz de distinguir lo que es el desarrollo de las t�cticas de la revoluci�n de lo que es el uso de t�cticas para revertir la estrategia e ir al revisionismo.
Es un problema que se plantea en cada revoluci�n, dif�cil y complejo, pero es un nodo decisivo para su triunfo.
Ya hemos enfrentado esta contradicci�n en nuestro pa�s con la aparici�n de la l�nea revisionista en el PCI de Togliatti, y siempre han sido las corrientes oportunistas de falsa izquierda, trotskistas y bordiguistas, las que han considerado a Togliatti, su l�nea y su direcci�n, revisionistas desde el principio, y el PCI revisionista desde el inicio de la resistencia antifascista, menospreciando la justa t�ctica que llev� a la victoria de la resistencia anti-fascista bajo la direcci�n de PCI, que abri� el camino a la transici�n al socialismo, mientras que los desarrollos, antes pr�cticos y despues te�ricos, de Togliatti llevaron, del 1947-48 en adelante, al prevaler de posiciones revisionistas en el PCI y luego, en 1956, al cambio de naturaleza de este partido.
S�lo aquellos que levantan, en palabras, "la negaci�n de la negaci�n", pero luego teorizan y pr�ctican, en el an�lisis, la posici�n anti-dial�ctica de "negaci�n s�lo" pueden, a continuaci�n, ver inconsistencias en nuestra posici�n. Aquellos que tratan de aplicar a la realidad concreta el MLM, en el an�lisis y en la pr�ctica, en el fuego de la lucha de clases en estrecha relaci�n con las masas, pueden comprender que es algo m�s.
Estamos seguros de que todos los partidos y fuerzas MLM mediante la lucha ideol�gica y pr�ctica conquistar�n su unidad en la futura Conferencia Internacional basada en las posiciones correctas contra el revisionismo y contra las posici�nes anti-dial�cticas e idealistas en el movimiento comunista internacionale.
