International Support Kurds in Syria Association (SKS) was founded in September 2009:
Aim:
To work in collaboration with individuals and organisations to bring about change for Kurds in Syria, until they achieve basic human rights.
Objectives:
- We will invite people to become members of the email group if they are actively involved in working towards the aims of the Association so that information, ideas and opportunities for action can be created and shared, publicising and promoting our work;
- To offer speakers in addition to (when possible) organising meetings, training courses and events;
- To work alongside with similar groups, and to exchange information and advice with them;
- To take any other action that is lawful, which would help SKS to fulfil its aims.
SKS co-chairs: Khalaf Dahowd and Sheila Mosley.
