Dear Friends,
Recently the Dublin based People's Permanent Tribunal brought out a
report indicting the Sri Lankan government for war crimes and crimes
angainst humanity, besides condemning the so called 'internatinal
community' for its cruel silence. Unfortunately, the issue did not get
the attention it deserved in India owing to various factors. Keeping
this in mind, we plan to hold a convention in Delhi on the 15th of
April at Constitution Club from 2.00 PM. Prominent activists including
Justice Rajinder Sachar, Syed Ali Shah Geelani, Justice VR Krishna
Iyer, SAR Geelani, KG Kannabiran and others will be participating at
the event. The focus will be on the Tribunal's report on the genocidal
actions of the Lankan state, while also covering the Eelam national
movement, its current situation and future prospects. We cordially
