Six decades after the Constitution was adopted and the Republic was declared, the whole ruling system has become out-rightly
reactionary, anti-people. In the colonial states of the India, millions of people are denied elementary freedoms and independence
is reduced to a sham � the real economic decisions are taken by the big marketers like the prices of goods including essential
commodities has stick by the migrant businessman in Manipur. When increasing number of people are resisting human rights
violation, displacement, price rise and loot of natural resources, they are brutally suppressed unleashing state terror and imposing
black laws like AFSPA and UAPA. Even sedition charges are imposed and jail under National Security Act (NSA). It is in this
context the Kangleipak Communist Party (Maoist) had launched a protest with the revolutionary minded people and democratic
forces as a mark of boycott the India�s Republic Day celebration on the eve of India�s republic Day at various part of Manipur.
People also burn down the Indian Constitution by holding placards like �Long Live Maoism�, �We boycott the India�s Republic Day
Celebration� and �Long Live Manipur�. Such initiative is a good beginning of the way of Maoist movement in Manipur. The
purpose of participation of general public in such protest will developed transitional demands of the revolutionary movement. The
program of transitional demands will act as a bridge between the partial struggles and the struggle for socialist revolution or
national liberation movement. These demands are both the most effective way to resist the colonialism and a challenge to the
essence of the system itself. So once again would like to appeal all the section of people to avoid participation to the so called
republic day.
The first period of imperialism meant the division of the world amongst colonial powers. After the Second World War, when the
�American century� began in earnest, the colonial empires fell apart to be replaced by formally independent states. The United
Nations Organization also works as a supermarket of the so called government control NGOs. So there is a way only to way out
from the colonialism is Communist movement. The chains of economic dependence are forged from colonial social relations and
can only be smashed by the expropriation of colonialism itself. The KCP (Maoist) believed that a popular mass movement led by
the Maoist way of thought can be defeat the colonial regime. Mass forces are needed. Therefore, we will fight for the mass
movement of the oppress people to create organized peoples army. These are the first steps towards the formation of a Maoist
and popular militia � an organization essential for the defense of our nation today, and for its victorious revolutionary offensive
tomorrow.Since 1980�s, more and more oppressed nations, racial and ethnic groups and indigenous peoples, have demanded
freedom from oppression and domination. The compulsory unions of peoples such as the former USSR or Indonesia have either
broken up or are beginning to do so. Compulsion or oppression of any kind stands in the way of international solidarity. The
working class, peasant, radical youth and popular masses must oppose all form of violations of national rights and we must fight
for the right to self-determination. We appeal all the Civil Society Organizations (CSO), students unions, youth fronts and women
organizations to consider this program as an immediate struggles of the oppress people of Manipur to address the immediate
needs and challenge the power of the imperialist as a whole. There is basic need the CSO�s, Students Unions, radical Youths and
women groups to come to the head of the fight for democratic rights as a means to an end � the abolition of colonialism and the
establishment of classless democracy and socialism.
